Cristina Waltz is a Make-up Designer and Department Head with more than fifteen years of experience designing characters for film and television. Her work encompasses beauty, character, special effects, and prosthetic make-up, including recent work on Disney/Lucasfilm productions Mandalorian & Grogu, Ahsoka, and Skeleton Crew.
Drawing on her background as a painter, Cristina approaches make-up design through color, composition, and visual storytelling. Whether creating a subtle contemporary look or an elaborate prosthetic transformation, she is passionate about developing characters that feel authentic, expressive, and rooted in the story.
Known for seamlessly blending beauty and prosthetic make-up, Cristina collaborates closely with directors, production designers, costume designers, and actors to create characters that feel authentic to the story. As a Department Head, she is equally committed to building organized, collaborative make-up departments that support both the creative vision and the practical demands of production.
